The Dilemma of Unemployment

Large scale lay-offs are occurring more and more regularly throughout all regions of the country, and facing unemployment is becoming an ordeal for more and more families and individuals.

Though many believe that a college degree is crucial, and that those without them are destined to struggle through life sweating away in a factory, this is not always the case. Often, those that have been certified in a skill or trade make much more than those with college degrees. Even high paying administrative support positions, which are traditionally filled by women, are demanding more from potential candidates, and getting more difficult to obtain, even with some education and experience.
